Provider essentially referred my issue out, which is fine, also suggested imaging. Again fine. However, his assessments of my issue were 100% wrong and he should be more mindful when we speaks. He made the comment my pain was probably from me being overweight and breastfeeding. And suggested working out (but I can't even touch my toes, so make that make sense) Turns out I have bulging discs and spinal canal narrowing, not from my weight at all. Really disappointing that instead of assessing my pain he felt he had to assess my size instead.

Dr. Castro showed a true partnership with me as his patient in formulating diagnosis and plan of care.

Dr. Castro was by far one of the best PCP providers I've seen. Very knowledgable and professional. He addressed all of my concerns

After my recent experience at the New Tampa office, I have decided I will only see Dr. Castro moving forward. Dr. Castro has cared for my family for years and has consistently shown that he truly listens to his patients and is genuinely invested in their care. He takes the time to address concerns and makes patients feel heard and respected. Unfortunately, my experience with another provider at the New Tampa office did not reflect the same standard of care, as I felt it was waste of time & money, rushed visit , and unheard every time i spoke. This experience reinforced how important communication and attentiveness are in providing quality medical care. This is also the reason I will only be seeing Dr.Castro as long as i need to see a Doctor.

Dr. Castro was very personable, knowledgeable and proffessional. It was a very thorough and productive vist to establish him as my new PCP.

Dr Castro was very understanding of my concerns and did a fabulous job of encouraging me to take charge of my wellness. Took me seriously, got me the help I needed

I've seen Dr. Castro for many years outside my VA Doc and have found him to be very straightforward and accommodating to my needs. I never have any issues getting an appointment with him and find him to be very down to earth and personable.

I have lost a lot of hair and recently found out there is a link between GLP-1 medications and hair loss. Dr. Castro seemed to know that already and neglected to mention it to me at the outset of treatment. That being said, Dr. Castro is an EXCELLENT doctor and I would not leave his practice in spite of its issues with scheduling. He made a good recommendation about how to possibly correct the problem. He also took time to listen to me, which can be rare these days.

Wonderful qualities:Down to earth, not rushed, good listener, genuine concern, trusted advice, thorough. I feel well taken care of and fortunate to have met Dr. Castro.

Dr. Castro i am sure is a good doctor. With that being said, he came in very casually with his hands in his pocket like he was just strolling thru. I explained the problem he left came back with recommendations and walking in like he was strolling thru. Again. He then proceeded to tell me about the medicines to take and left. I had questions for him, i had to ask the nurse to bring him back because i had questions. He cane back with, guess what his hands back in his pockets like he was at a park. It just seems like he didn't want to take the time to listen. That is all.

Dr Castro listened to me. We made decisions about a new dr to see because of my issues. He set up a nurse navigator to help me with this. He also took care of my other needs while there for prescription refills and so on

Dr. Castro is great! He communicates easily and explains medical info so I can understand it fully. I feel relaxed around him. Nurses were also delightful and helpful. TGH is lucky to have such great people at this location.

The provider did not seem personal in my experience the provider kept on looking at his watch as if to see how fast he could get me out the door when I would try to explain he would cut me off.. My main reason for coming in was a headache, but his main concern felt like how fast can he get me out of there.
