Shelby was super nice, thorough, and discussed the upcoming surgery questions with me, explaining herself as she went. I was treated with kindness, compassion, and given the opportunity to ask questions. I greatly appreciated the efficiency of the team at this location. Everyone talked to me, not at me.

All the APRN did was dismiss anything I had to say and parrot what the ER already told me, making this visit and the drive from Tampa to St. Pete a complete waste of time.

Shelby performed a basic assessment but did not explain why she was performing the assessment. More education for the patient on what the provider is doing to the patient is needed during the assessment process.

My first visit with nurse practitioner and i found her just as comfortable as dealing with Dr Reid

This was my first time meeting the nurse practitioner. She seemed unconcern with anything other than my chief complaint while I explain I'm a whole person. Some things could contribute to the vomiting and abdominal pain. I was discouraged from speaking on anything other than the vomiting and abdominal pain. Never mind that my blood pressure was very low or my ability to consume food outside of 4 to 6 ounces. As I stated it was the end of the day and I was treated like end of the day tasks. The nurse practitioner did call in meds for the gallbladder and I appreciate. I felt like everyone had something better to do. I was an inconvenience and why am I talking to them.
