Dr. Chain is a board-certified family medicine physician. After graduating from Laurentian University in Ontario, Canada, Dr. Chain attended medical school at St. Matthew's University in Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands. He completed both family medicine and primary care sports medicine residency programs at the University of Connecticut/Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center, where he served as chief resident.

Dr. Chain is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP), American Medical Society for Sports Medicine (AMSSM) and Connecticut Academy of Family Physicians (CAFP). Previously, he volunteered as a member of the medical professional team for the Boston Marathon and as an assistant coach for the North Bay Down Syndrome Society Special Olympic athletes. Dr. Chain is fluent in both English and French.

Dr. Chain does a great job! He provides good feedback regarding test results and proper direction on what adjustments need to be made with either diet or medicines.

Ive been a patient of Dr Chain since he started in this medical iffice. I stayed because my provider makes me feel seen and heard. His bedside manners is exceptional. Although he sees so many patients everyday, he always makes me feel like he kniws me. Im comfortable with him and hes never makes me feel like he is rushing me out the door. Wherever he goes i will go as long as my insurance cover the visit as "in-network". Thank you for providing the community with such a great doctor.

I drive 30 minutes to see Dr Chain, even 'tho there's a TGH clinic five minutes from my home. I like and trust him and the assistants at the North Tampa location
