Dr. Chain is a board-certified family medicine physician. After graduating from Laurentian University in Ontario, Canada, Dr. Chain attended medical school at St. Matthew's University in Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands. He completed both family medicine and primary care sports medicine residency programs at the University of Connecticut/Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center, where he served as chief resident.

Dr. Chain is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP), American Medical Society for Sports Medicine (AMSSM) and Connecticut Academy of Family Physicians (CAFP). Previously, he volunteered as a member of the medical professional team for the Boston Marathon and as an assistant coach for the North Bay Down Syndrome Society Special Olympic athletes. Dr. Chain is fluent in both English and French.

I took out a supplement that I pay for along with my Medicare just so I could continue receiving care thought your TGH health care organization. I could have taken out one of the care plus or optimum packages turning all my health card decisions over to their health care organization for no cost . I choose to along with Dr.Chain make my own medical decisions and choose what specialist I prefere to go to.
